The Cello Suites are one of the most complex works by J.S Bach and the only one for solo cello. Falling in love with the music at age eight, Li Lu has been taken by the Cello Suites on a journey from China to many places around the world.  Over years of performing this piece, Li Lu has developed her own interpretation of the music, infusing it with her life experience. Within this recording one can find stories from the past, and Li Lu’s hopes and dreams for the future.
